about me
Hey! My name is Brittney. I created the Quiet Bloom from a deep passion for personal growth, healing, and the belief that some of life’s most meaningful transformations happen quietly, beneath the surface. While we often celebrate the moments of blooms, Ive come to appreciate the seasons of uncertainty. challenge, and reflection that shape and mold us along the way.
Over the years, I’ve dedicated myself to becoming the best version of myself, not through perfection, but through intentional growth. Ive worked to overcome anxiety and depression, heal my relationship with alcohol, lose over 70 lbs, rebuild my confidence from scratch and learned the importance of caring for both my physical and mental well-being. Those experiences taught me that with consistency, growth and change are so much more possible than we realize.
Professionally, I’ve spent the past six years as a registered nurse, and the last two years as a nurse case manager. Through that experience, Ive seen firsthand how deeply our mental and emotional health influence every aspect of our lives. It has strengthened my desire to support others on their own journeys of healing and self-discovery so much so that Ive now began pursing becoming a Holistic Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
When I am not working, I enjoy reading, writing, watching tv shows, practicing yoga, working out, and spending time with loved ones. My new hobby is photography because I love the fact that you are able to capture the beauty in an everyday moment that we sometimes tend to overlook. I’ve always been drawn to the quiet moments whether that be a beam of sunlight, a regular ordinary mundane task, or even a car just driving by. Many of the photographs shared throughout this space will be ones that I have captured myself, each paired with reflections and stories that inspired the post.
This space is for anyone navigating through growth, healing, change or simply just trying to become more aligned with who they are. I am still on that journey myself, and I don’t claim to have all the answers. What I do have though is the willingness to share what I’m learning along the way.
Thank you for being here! I hope this space encourages you to embrace the quiet seasons, trust your own growth, and find beauty in the process of becoming.
